About Dr. Russ Skinner, M.D.:

Dr. Skinner grew up in a rural community in north central Texas. He graduated salutatorian from his high school and then attended Abilene Christian University. He graduated from ACU with honors and was accepted to Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After medical school, Dr. Skinner began his residency in family practice at Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock. While at Texas Tech, Dr. Skinner served as Vice President and then President of house staff physicans at University Medical Center.

Dr. Skinner is Board Certified in Family Practice, is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Texas Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Skinner is married with three small boys. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and takes an active role in his church family. He also enjoys hunting, skiing, and camping.
